Science is divided into two kinds, the first science of religion (science of halal, haram, alqur'an, hadith, along with all the science into the ingredients, such as science lughat, nahwu, nerves, balaghah, tafseer, musthalah, ushul, and so on).

The second is general science (medical science, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, architecture, business, natural knowledge and so on).

Both are equally potential to be the science of the afterlife that leads us to His heaven,
or become a world science that is not useful for our afterlife later.

When the science of religion or general science is studied for the benefit of the world such as wealth, popularity, honor, position in the eyes of man, then both will become a world science that does not benefit the afterlife.
Even the science of religion that became the science of the world will be more dangerous later in the afterlife.

But when the science of religion is learned to worship away from sin, distributed to people who do not know, spread the benefits, keep the treasury of Islamic scholarship and seek the pleasure of Allah SWT, or general science pursued to self-rule Muslims, study medicine to become a Muslim doctor who protects people Islam.
Physics, biology, chemistry, architecture, astronomy, natural knowledge and so on are learned so that Muslims are independent and not dependent on non-Muslims,
To be useful to the Muslims, to maintain the continuity of life of Muslims and to keep the threat of crime that may be inserted by non-Muslims in some aspects of life, so through some of the science there are Muslims who are able to explain, reply so that Muslims can avoid it, the science of the afterlife that can lead to heaven.

If you ask about the glory of science, the science of religion or general science is more mainstream and more noble, then the answer there are details,

✒️In the essence of science then the science of religion is clearly more noble,

✒️As for the social needs or individually the answer depends on the circumstances,
If people need a true religious figure who istiqamah and pation and talent of a person is the science of religion,
So in these conditions the science of religion is more important to be learned,
And if for example a scholar in that area the person is already a lot and his talent and his pation is general science,
So in these conditions general science is more important to be studied.

As a result,
We Muslims all bear the mandate of Allah ﷻ who has made us khalifah on earth,
So keep this earth as well as possible.
