Dangerous maps NASA unwisely sent into space
I recently came across a news feed about Frank Drake, an American astronomer and famed alien hunter, he worked with Nasa to design maps which were placed inside Pioneer 10 and 11 as well as Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 probes (space crafts) .
All four of these spaceships have now left the solar system and are speeding through deep space. The plaque placed aboard the Pioneer craft shows a man and a woman alongside a basic map which plots the position of Earth compared to a distant pulsar stars, which are bright and long-lasting so could still direct aliens our way if they are found millions of years from now.
Frank Drake now fears it may have been a bad idea to send the maps into space. The article about Drake was actually written by his daughter Nadia, who asked whether it may one day be seen as "foolish and dangerous" to have broadcasted details of our whereabouts to aggressive aliens.Back in the optimistic early days of space exploration, everyone thought it was a great idea to offer aliens a chart telling them how to find Planet Earth.But now the man who sent four maps into deep space fears this decision could prove to be disastrous.scientists now believe contacting extraterrestrials is a spectacularly bad idea.

Too late, Aliens are already here and we are everywhere. Soon we will take over your planet and bring you up to speed in civilization and future technology. We are thinking about recruiting Ceepee as our first human Pilot. Hahahahaha!!!!
I am not scared. I don't think any "aliens" will ever find those maps, and if they do, I will guess that they won't know how to read them. And if they can read them, they might be scared to come here because we are too aggressive.
(And maybe an alien who "reads" this map might think that we are CATs)
Lol......i have been hearing stories about aliens already visiting earth...what if they are thousands of years more advance then us?

hugobro, Let assume we have not been visited already. Let's hope that space explorers are exponential thinkers and users of technology. I means they will approach us with a spirit of community and abundance. We should welcome first contact sooner rather than later....
I think before this steps for seeking them out are taken , earth should prepare for them defensively if the need arises....like you said they might not be hostile but on the other hand they might be

I don't believe in aliens but I do believe their are other begins out their, which of cos already knows we exist and we know they exist too but bcos we don't have same built we can't co habit together
I don't know if it is a bad idea or a good one to send maps into space but sure, we cannot be the only intelligent beings in the universe.
I really don't know what to say right now. But I doubt if there are any such things as aliens
!!!
