Health News: NTAG216 RFID Chip or The Beast Mark?

In @HealthcaReport we concern about your health, and because health is described by the World Health Organization as “A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being" and we add, "Spiritual well-being" we want you to be fully aware of the last technologies that may impact all this dimensions.

So today we are going to talk about the RFID Chip, but because RFID Chips are not new, we are going to talk specifically about one chip, the NTAG216, being this different from the other microchips of the past because this chip is going to be inserted in human´s bodies.

But First, What is a RFID Chip?

RFID is the acronym of: Radio Frecuency IDentification. The begining of this new technology come from the Bar Code Infrared technology, but the main change is that the material used for this is now silicon, allowing to the reader to have a distance from the object who contains the chip, being possible for this object to be inside of a box, or even to be readed with other objects simoutaneously.

So, to understand better, an RFID Chip is a small chip that allows the user to identify, using a radio frecuency (RF) signal the object where is located. This characteristic, is one of the differences that has the RFID chip with a bar code, because it doesn´t need to work with infared, being physically near the object, but via Radio Signals can be used even with 5 meters of distace or more, all this, depending on the number of things between the Tag or Chip and the RFID reader, and other characteristics of the chip.

So, besides this technology seems futurist, there are suggestions that this type of technology was invented by León Theremin for the Soviets in 1945.

Who Built RFID Chip?

The main company that design and manufacture the chip is called NXP Semiconductors; a company created on August 2006 after the split of the division of semiconductor of well know company: Phillips.

NXP at the moment, has 31.000 employees and is located in more than 33 countries; achieving on 2016 a declared revenue of $9.5 billion.

In fact, we can see the growth of this company on the last 7 years since started being public at the Nasdaq. When this happened, the company had a price average of 15 USD, now, just 7 years later the company has grown from 15 to 212 Dollars, which represents a gorwth of 806% or 115% per year, being the average of the Nasdaq for the same time of 37% per year.

Besides this company creates the chip, the main distributor of this Human Implanted Microchip is BioHax. Biohax International was founded in 2013 by the Swedish entrepreneur, biohacker and body modification guru Jowan Österlund, who believes that high-quality and smart technology shouldn't be complex to integrate in everyday life to create seamless experiences with connected things while simultaneously bringing back personal control over security to the end-user within the world of connected things and the use of digital platforms.

But, What this has to be with my Health?

The first person that publicly had a microchip inserted was Kevin Warnick, a professor of cybernetics at Reading University in the UK. He did this in August 1998 with the purspose of "checking whether his computer was able to wirelessly track his movements within the university". This project was called the " Cyborg Project", the intervention was realized by the Dr. Geroge Boulous using local anaesthetic only.

After the chip being inserted, Kevin was able to operate doors, lights, heaters and other computers without lifting a finger. This are the exact words he pronounced about this experiment:

"The chip implant technology has the capability to impact our lives in ways that have been previously thought possible in only sci-fi movies. The implant could carry all sorts of information about a person, from Access and Visa details to your National Insurance number, blood type, medical records etc, with the data being updated where necessary."

HEALTH RISKS:

The risks associated with injectable RFID tags have been most fully evaluated by the British Veterinary Association and by the American Veterinary Medical Association. In 2008 concerns were raised over the possibility that injectable RFID tags could be linked to the development of cancerous tumours. However there has been almost no evidence of this occuring outside the laboratory in spite of over ten million animals having been tagged in this way in the UK and the USA. (The particular study noted the incidence of tumours occurring in mice that had been injected with microchips.) The use of injectable RFID chips in humans was approved by the American Food & Drug Administration in 2004 and the FDA have made no move to change the status of this approval in spite of the introduction of new technologies. US consumer groups have campaigned against the use of injectable tags in humans and have alleged that the FDA did notconsider all the available research.

SECURITY RISKS:

Between different pupulations, there has been more concern about the security of information than for health, as this issue might impact how people`s privacy could be invaded by the government. In this case, with all the data being electronically available, and inside a main source, this could mean this information being used for bad purposes.

In this case, we can see one failure of the RFID chips that was proved on 2006, as the following quote states:

"On July 22, 2006, Reuters reported that two hackers, Newitz and Westhues, at a conference in New York City showed that they could clone the RFID signal from a human implanted RFID chip, showing that the chip is not hack-proof as was previously claimed. Privacy advocates have protested against implantable RFID chips, warning of potential abuse."

When Faith Matters

On 2002, on the website of the famous channel EWTN, one spectator asked the priest about RFID Microchips and its implantation on humans, the question was the following one:

"Reverend Father; recently there was a show on the television that ALL citizens (not JUST criminals and terroists) will have electronic microchips injected (Big Brother is watching you). What can Catholics and strict traditonal orthodox (Episcopalian such as myself) do if and when (next week, next month, next decade, within my lifetime) do if and when approached with such a government requirement. Is the --The Mark of the Beast-- or a government attempt to keep track of all citizens (every man, woman and child) for public's safety.

What about smart cards? I don't mind some people (family, neighbors and or co-workers) knowing where I am at all times but government people are another species altogether

The Father then answered first, talking about the Book of Revelation and the rise of the Anti-Christ prior to the Coming of Christ, the most important thing taken by Christians to belive that the RFID can be the Mark of the Beast, is taken from the following scripture:

" Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six." Revelation 13:16-18

This part of the scriptures show us that the mark of the beast will be placed in two places: the right hand and the forehead, the coincidence show us, that after a lot of research, the place that was ideal for putting such thing in the body was coincidently the right hand and the forehead.

As we can see, there has been a lot of debate about the "Mark of the Beast" and how this might be physically putted in our bodies, in this case, the Priest said the following:

"Regardless of a specific application, what we can affirm is that it represents alliance with the power of Satan, rather than God. It is a parody upon the mark which Christians bear by reason of their baptism and the sign of the Cross which we invoke upon ourselves. The mark of the Beast may have its origins as early as the mark placed upon Cain, as described in the Book of Genesis:

-- Cain said to Abel his brother, "Let us go out to the field." And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and killed him. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know; am I my brother's keeper?" And the LORD said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the ground. And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength; you shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth." Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me this day away from the ground; and from thy face I shall be hidden; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will slay me." Then the LORD said to him, "Not so! If any one slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold." And the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest any who came upon him should kill him. Then Cain went away from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, east of Eden. -- Genesis 4: 8-16

This mark placed by the Lord was not likely as sign of divine favor, but a warning that this man was a son of his father the devil, who was a murderer himself from the beginning. Similarly, as at the beginning of our race, so near the end, those who ally themselves with Satan are marked for him, and not for God.

Recently there have been indications of micro-technology currently available to place a locator/processor underneath the skin of a human being, which provides tracking identification of the one who bears it. And while I generally exercise caution when it comes to matters that may manifest aspects of the Apocalypse, I will state this definitively: I will not submit to such a procedure or allow such a chip or device to be planted on my person, regardless of the consequences. Such is an invasion of privacy, represents excessive government control upon the individual, and corresponds too closely to a possible fulfillment of the “mark of the Beast” of the Apocalypse. No doubt the argument will be that we need such chips implanted for security purposes, and to many people this seem reasonable or preferable to stolen identities or violence by unknown perpetrators. But I would prefer take my chances with the uncertainty of terrorism to the absolute control of a government over us by such devices. None of us can know with absolute certitude whether or not we are approaching the enigmatic warnings of Revelation regarding the rise of the Anti-Christ and the mark of the Beast, but I view a microchip under the skin as sufficient evidence along such lines to refuse it."

As we see, there are already meny Christians that are watching this chip carefully, me being included, and that are more willing to receive the consequences of not having such a device, than taking the "Mark of the Beast", this because there is also a promess to those who oppose to this and belive in God instead of other fake Idols:

"I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years." Revelation 20:4

Wether you are Christian or not, having to use a microchip inside your body is just a matter of time, maybe 20 years, or maybe 50 years, but the question already is not anymore "if", but "when".
