One of the most wonderful things done by science is the discovery of new things even on old species that are now extinct. The Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the most famous dinosaurs that ever existed on our land and its remains made our imaginations run wild of what it would really look like if it existed today. By now most of us have seen the Hollywood version of this creatures and their depiction of the famous Tyrant is what we image of it today.

But Their Depiction Was made Wrong by Science

One of the most famous discovery being now corrected by science is the Hollywood's depiction of the dinosaurs being hairless or featherless as with the recent discovery of fossilized remains of Velociraptors and the T-Rex and other dinosaurs showing evidence that dinosaurs have feathers. The second image of the T-Rex is a much more accurate depiction of the famous dinosaur. But even though they have been corrected by science the latest film, The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, still haven't change their appearance.

It has been said that the feathers of this dinosaurs didn't made them birds as they are still technically reptiles and with the course of evolution their feathers are sort of what is leftover from their genetic makeup. Also they have said that some dinosaurs lose the feathers when they reached puberty as the fossilized remains that they saw with feathers are of those of the younger dinosaurs.

So what does the T-Rex Really Sound like?

Now the famous depiction of what this Tyrants sound like is that they have a vicious roar, the hollywood film industry made various mixes of animals between elephants, tigers, lions, and crocodiles in order to create a sound for this dinosaur, but all of them are wrong as the T-Rex didn't made a sound anywhere near what they created. With the recent discovery that they are sensitive to sound the T-Rex might made most likely a low frequency growl. It has been said that this sound is enough for others to know the presence that the T-Rex is nearby. You can hear the sound in the video that I have linked in.

It is amazing what science can do. But I hope that the film industry will take the courage to admit their mistake and create a more accurate depiction of dinosaurs. Yes the changes will be big which includes the sound effects being created by this animals but doing it will make a lot of people understand what is right.
