RE: The early bird catches the worm?

in #science8 years ago

Thank you very much for this article, @jaki01. Resteemed!

I would consider myself to be a night owl but unfortunately society (or my job to be more precise) doesn't let me live the life of a night owl as I have to get up rather early...

When it comes to some jobs it might be possible to just allow people to work whenever they want but some jobs actually require meetings, communication with clients, etc... which makes life quite hard for night owls... ;-)

However, writing articles for Steemit is THE perfect night owl job. It can be done at any time. Even during the night hours, which I personally love very much. If everything is calm and everybody is sleeping; that's the best time to work. At least, if you don't have to get up early...

Thanks for resteeming!

... and who decides when the meetings take place, the minority of a few early birds who dominate the society? ;-)

You're welcome.

Maybe we should make sure to either have a boss who is a night owl as well or be the boss and make the rules ourselves. ;-)

I may add that more and more people should be given the opportunity to work from home, so that they would be able to decide themselves when to work.

Concerning the mentioned meetings, many of them could actually be replaced by video conferences.

As a positive side effect both measures would lead to less traffic jam and pollution.
