Nanobots and health

Imagine going to the doctor to get treatment for a persistent fever, instead of giving you a pill or a shot, the doctor refers you to a special medical team which implants a tiny robot into your bloodstream. The robot detects the cause of your fever, travels to the appropriate system and provides a dose of medication directly to the infected area.
Isn't that amazing? Take me for instance, I 'hate' the smell drugs, hospitals nauseates me anything about intake of medications? count me out. So getting this bots into me and curing my fever is so trilling and exciting.
So what are these amazing bots? They are called Nanorobots

The nanorobot is exceptionally small and impossible to see with naked eyes. "It is about 5,000 times smaller than the tip of a needle".
It can travel through the bloodstream searching for tumors. Once it detects a tumor, it will release its load of thrombin directly into the tumor to cut off its blood supply and "starve" the tumor to death.
As the DNA nanorobot is a natural biocompatible and biodegradable material, it is cleared out of the body after it has finished its task.

This science is called Nanorobotics-

Nanorobotics is an emerging technology field creating machines or robots whose components are at or near the scale of a nanometre (10−9 meters). More specifically, nanorobotics (as opposed to microrobotics) refers to the nanotechnology engineering discipline of designing and building nanorobots, with devices ranging in size from 0.1–10 micrometres and constructed of nanoscale or molecular components.

As per research theories, nanorobots will possess at least two-way communication. Through sound waves, these robots will receive power or even reprogramming instructions from an external source and will respond to acoustic signals. A special network of stationery nanorobots will be positioned throughout the body which will keep the track of each active nanorobot passes & then report the results. Physicians or doctors could not only monitor a patient progress but can also change the instructions of the nanorobots in vivo to progress to another stage of healing. After treating, these nanorobots would be flush out of the body immediately.

Nanobots in cancer detection and treatment

Nanobots could be very helpful and hopeful for the therapy of patients since current treatment like radiation therapy often end up destroying more healthy cells than cancerous ones and chemotherapy leads to hair loss, depression, nausea & fatigue
The other alternative of this painful chemotherapies is nanorobots. Doctors would offer the patient an injection of a special type of nanorobot that would check & destroy the cancer cells without touching the healthy ones. This great enhancement would raise the standard of healthcare at great extent.

Nanobots in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes

To maintain the human metabolism, glucose molecules are carried through the bloodstream. To determine the need for injecting insulin inside the body, glucose monitoring nanorobots uses the chemosensor.

Nanobots in Dentistry: For dental treatment, the nanorobots used are dentifrobots which induce oral analgesia, desensitise tooth, manipulate the tissue to re-align and straighten irregular set of teeth and to improve durability of teeth.

Other advantages includes;

  • Nanobots could be used to maintain tissue oxygenation in the absence of respiration, repair and recondition the human vascular tree eliminating heart disease and stroke damage.
  • Perform complex nanosurgery on individual cells.
  • Instantly staunch bleeding after traumatic injury.
  • It can be uses to monitor nutrient concentration in the human body.
  • Nanobots might be used to process specific chemical reaction in the human body as ancillary device for injured organs.
  • Nanobots equipped with nanosensors could be developed to deliver anti- HIV drugs

Conclusion
Nanobots applied to medicine holds a wealth of promise from eradicating disease to reversing the aging process (wrinkles, loss of bone mass and age-related conditions are all treatable at the cellular level); nano robots are also candidates for industrial applications. They will provide personalized treatments with improved efficacy and reduced side effects that are not available today. They will provide combined action drugs marketed.
This science might sound like a fiction now, but Nano robotics has strong potential to revolutionize healthcare, to treat disease in future. It opens up new ways for vast, abundant research work

This is a very nice piece firstly, it answered all questions i already had in my head but i still have little concerns.

In this era of mass innovations, i think the most prevalent is that of the bots; the Sex bots, the Artificial Intelligence, the Nanobots and all. Now talking about the nanobots, would they be in form of liquids or tiny particles?

If it's the former, what it the assurance that the liquid won't cause some reactions in the body system. And if it's the later, like aborting a child, what is the assurance that some more particles won't get stuck in some part of the body when being flushed out?

I wish to carry out personal research on this but it's important i share my concerns.

It is just like some tiny nuts, introduced into the body.
They are "natural biocompatible and biodegradable material, it is cleared out of the body after it has finished its task."
and the technology is so careful that it bound together and there is no case for 'left' particles.
