Great article! One of the areas that excite me the most in science right now. :) I hope bone-loss and skin-cancer etc will be a thing of the past in not too long.
CRISPR's applications in viral treatments for cancers is a whole other awesome bag of worms.
As I said elsewhere in these comments, it's just a big bag of off the wall, impossible to fully predict, potential. How it all pans out in the end is anyone's guess I suppose.
