Heterochromia: A beautiful mutation.

Heterochromia, or as it is scientifically known as Heterochromia Iridum, is an anomaly where in each eye it is of different color to the other, or as the Professor Xavier says:

This mutation, is the result of the lack or excess of coloration in the eye, product of a disparity of the melanin in each iris, in some cases the pigmentation appears totally or partially.
Note: melanin is a pigment that most of living things have.
In animals it is also common to observe this anomaly, although it appears in its total form in cats, since normally they are seen a blue eye and another brown color and in same way in dog races like Siberian Huskys and Dalmatas.
Heterochromia can manifest at the time of birth, which is also called "congenital heterochromia", as a consequence of some disease or trauma caused by a stroke or accident.
As well as the late singer and actor David Bowie, who after a blow in his left eye caused damage to his pupil, causing it to always remain dilated.

There is no doubt that this mutation many people would like to have. In some cases the color combination is something to be admired.
