Almost 8000 weird blue lakes found near Antarctica

 This as most will know is not good news no lakes should be found around or in Antarctica, but alas here we are discussing this i am sure a lot of you never thought we would see the day where this would be a actually topic of discussion. reaserchers studying in Antarctica have found many dazzling clear blue lakes near a huge glacier this is also not good because supraglacial lakes can cause an ice sheet to collapse here just take a look "ice sheets" these lakes are referred to as supraglacial lakes because of how they are devolved over warm temperatures  

Proxima Centauri close to our star system may contain Earth like planet 

Gathering information since 2013 the scientific community found signs of a planet four lights years from our own earth it floats around a red dwarf star. This discovery could mean a lot the simple fact that it in itself could contain life and from what we can tell it does contain liquid water, as well as some people like myself would love to travel to another star system i mean that would be the experience of a life time. its size is  a mass at least 1.3 times that of our Earth. That's exciting but lets keep in mind that if there is life there does it want to share?

2020 Olympics to open with artificial meteor shower

 Japanese research company ALE is looking to make meteor showers on demand, a thing someone can buy there also looking to have a meteor shower for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. That's amazing! this is how they outlined how the project will work. 

 When the satellite stabilizes in orbit, we will discharge the particles  using a specially designed device on board. The particles will travel  about one-thirds of the way around the Earth and enter the atmosphere.  It will then begin plasma emission and become a shooting star.  

Sounds amazing to me! i think id like my ashes to be shooting stars, can that be done I hope so, My thoughts are that being able to do things like this just justifies that we as a species are growing and will continue to do so fuck Moore's law
