• Galactic recycling : Scientists discovered that galaxies form new stars at the rate that would consume more matter than they actually have inside them. Milky way appears to turn about one sun’s worth of dust and gas into new stars every year. Astronomers noticed gas that has been expelled from galaxies is flowing back into the center.

• The Moon’s magnetic field : This is moon's greatest mystery. It seems like only some parts of moon's crust have magnetic field. Scientist think they have a solution. They believe it's magnetism from relic 120 mile wide asteroid that hit moon 4.5 billion years ago.

• What are Fermi Bubbles? This bubbles are MASSIVE. They are mysterious structures that emanate from the Milky Way's center. It was discovered in 2010 and it's made from high-energy gamma rays that is invisible to the naked eye. It's hypothesized that gamma rays are shock waves from stars being consumed by the black hole in the center of the galaxy.

• Rectangular Galaxy: In 2012 astronomers spotted a galaxy 70 million light years away with unusual shape. Galaxy LEDA 074886 is shaped more like a rectangle unlike other galaxies that are shaped like discs. It's speculated that the shape of galaxy is result of two spiral shaped galaxies colliding.

• What Is Dark Matter? We are currently trying to observe effects of dark energy, which is 70% of the universe. But it's not only dark stuff in the universe. 25 % of the universe is dark matter. It doesn't emit nor absorb light and it's invisible to the naked eye. Dark matter's gravitational effect is evident in the motion of galaxy clusters and stars.

• Multiverse : Physicists speculate that every universe exist within a bubble and multiple alternative universes are contained within their own distinct bubbles. In these other universes laws of physics may be drastically different. Astronomers are now looking for physical evidence.
