Helicopters dont float off into space because of gravity.

Things with mass have gravity. Gravity exists regardless of the shape of an object. Even the Doctor who delivered who had gravity - albeit smaller than something as big as the Earth. Sorry, but this does not prove a round earth at all.
Apod---you are not round or flat and you have gravity. Your point doesn't prove anything.
