What do you see? Young girl or old lady?

There is also a cognitive illusion that occurs when the brain perceives or judges an object we see based on prior knowledge or assumptions. Such as a picture of a flower vase or a face that, if noticed, makes us bewildered because the brain is trying to find memory in our memories of what is familiar to what we see.

This photo is an example of a cognitive illusion:

Is the cat up or down?

Basically, our eyes tend to convey information and our brains directly give a conclusion. This is because we get so much visual information, for that our brain needs a fast way to process all that information.

The way we see things that way, has evolved to help early humans to survive with fast predators. But it also means we can with muadh be fooled by simple illusions.

You may have seen the following picture:

The image looks luminous at some point, the image being an example of a psychological illusion. The illusion of a simple image that makes it difficult for the brain to describe it, the image of the dots is changed in the brain when it gets its information into electrical signals and keeps us focused on a single point.

It's very difficult for your brain to focus on it all at once, because our brain takes a quick way to simplify what we see to concentrate on what matters.
