Rare Natural Phenomenon Explanation:Hurricane Irma sucks water from Bahamas and Florida beach..

in #science7 years ago (edited)

The category 5 storm has already ripped through the Caribbean Islands before it reached Florida and has killed at least 24 people and left beaches bare along the coastline of the Bahamas.

Hurricane Irma’s winds are so strong, it’s pulling water away from the shoreline. It happened in the Bahamas on Friday and Saturday, and on the Gulf Coast of Florida on Sunday.

According to the Washington Post, this rare phenomenon is caused by a strong hurricane and resulting low pressure, which sucks water into the core of the storm.

Obviously, I didn't believe it at the beginning until I saw some footage about the hurricane.

Although this is a very rare and beautiful phenomenon which showed us the force of nature, This hurricane caused a lot of damage and suffering.God bless us all and bless the family of the victims.
