Conducting an experiment is a challenging thing for every researcher, and it divides into many different conditions, some of the researcher doing their research in the laboratory, in the field such as observation, field examination, and direct measurement. But some of researcher sitting in front of their laptop doing the simulation work using simulation software before start doing some experimental work to do direct observation, measurement and characterization obtain the expected result. Simulation process can ease the research work in targeting the expected result, because the parameter and the objective already simulate for initial step. Have you ever imagined how was the researcher in the past employed their experiment with a thousand time repetition and spent more time, energy and budget to obtain the result. Software simulation is saving time to obtain any particular result and finding in term of every major of science.

Simulation press recently has become an update to real time software observation and forecast, this simulation uses by the climatologist for weather or natural disaster prediction such as a mountain's eruption, earthquake, tsunami, storm and hurricane. Simulation is also applied in economics major in term of observation of foreign exchange trading and the commodity. There are many vendors whom offering the engineering software for simulation, it is depending on us, what is our purpose and what the result of research we wanted to achieve, On the other hand, there are 3 software you should master before continuing to other simulation software:


Mathlab

Mathlab is a simulation software using high level interactive environmental and language to explore and visualize a mathematical model and plot the result in a graph of expected result, this software is used by all scientists and engineer in every major of science such as engineering and economics to model the data as initiate result. A recent update of this software is completed with artificial intelligence for predictive control in the engineering field.

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the software for designing object in the real scale, in the past the researcher group needs the drafting table to draw an object or part of detail image. The object is must be drawn each detail part. By using CAD software engineer is able to draw the detail object only in one portfolio. The usual software use to draw is Auto desk, generally most of the engineer using Auto cad as a base layout, this object possible to change into 3D and 2D view under a wide variety of the object design.

To simulate the physic based form of an object, Comsol uses in simulating physic result of any experimental procedure. This software is very useful to minimize the experimental budget, the scientist is possible to design an experimental step process and observe the ideal result that obtain in Comsol, most of engineer use the data that train from console as initial result before starting the big experimental process which is need a long time process and energy to finish.


Conclusion

The simulation will save more energy, budget, and time. Simulation is also employed as the media of learning to transfer the material of education in the classroom to let the student understand the principal of the theory. Every vendor of engineering software is competing in providing the shortcut process for the researcher to obtain the data and the finding of the experiment.
