Como te va @etcmike, hermosas fotos, se nota el frió en las aves, gracias por compartirlas y gracias también por todo ese apoyo que brindas en tus respuestas, te deseo un feliz año nuevo y que todos tus proyectos se hagan posibles… GRACIAS.

Thanks mike

In this area I have seen three different types of blackbirds:

  • Red-winged Blackbird
  • European Starling
  • Common Grackle

The Common Grackle typically leave the area when the cold weather sets in.

I almost forgot, we also have American Crows in the area too. The crows are much larger than those other blackbirds.

Happy New Year!!
Steem on,
Mike

I’ll have to look the third one up it doesn’t ring a bell , and a happy new year to you mate . Thanks mike

Absolutely wonderful photographs. My favourite ones are of the house sparrow perching on the tree.

You certainly put a lot of time and effort into this project. Well done!

Thank you!!

Nearly all the pictures were taken in a 30 minute period. And the cloudy skies added to the difficulty of getting a good photograph. For most of the day there must have been a hawk nearby watching my feeder area. When there are no birds at my feeders for long stretches of time, it usually means predatory birds are in the area.

Happy New Year!
Steem on,
Mike

Thanks for sharing your Feeder watch post with #featheredfriends and making others aware of this great project! Your cardinal photos are wonderful! !Tip
