Bird feeders are an excellent addition to the backyard view for unintentional education and entertainment all in one...
It's easy to show which birds are territorial...and how blackbirds each have beautiful and unique markings if you look very closely...
Of course, few things are more amusing than watching the squirrels that can never quite gain their footing to gobble up the food in the swinging feeder, while playing predator-threat...and deciding gleaning from the ground is as good as it gets...smh...
Peace.
Great review, my friend and these birds look amazing! Thanks @etcmike
This is an excellent post! Love your photos and graphics. It's a cool winter project. I like that the bird count graphic has the photos of each bird right there.
Our juncos returned about 10 days ago.
I always say that when the Dark-eyed Juncos return, cold weather is not that far behind. The Dark-eyed Juncos in this area always seem to return just before the first snow.
Have a great week!
