Using Graphene To Make Smartphone Batteries Last Longer

A new graphene sticker, NanoSkins, promises to give users at least 20 percent more battery life for their smartphone.

The graphene sticker, supposed to be unveiled at CES this week, works with almost any phone that's out there today. The sticker is able to help keep the back of the smartphone handset cool, rather than plugging into the phone directly. Placing this sticker on the back of the phone is claimed to be able to drastically reduce the power use/power drain that takes place.

There are two different graphene-based products introduced that are both able to accomplish the same goal. The NanoSticker is an oval-shaped sticker that you stick onto the back of any phone, and the NanoSkin is a specific fitted backing for the phone.

There will also be a NanoCase coming to the market soon as well.

The graphene sticker technology is allegedly utilizing the power of graphene to be able to cool down the electronics, by transferring the heat more effectively. For now you can get your own NanoSticker for about $14US and the NanoSkin runs about $21US.

Graphene technology might also help to develop bendable phones in the future, as well as contributing to a myriad of other amazing products and technological developments. It might not be very long before we are surrounded by a number of graphene products in the market.
