Thank you for your thoughtful post. I am not sure there are more than three dimensions, however, I do believe it is possible to simulate reality in a computer. All it takes is finding the equations that mathematically describe the movement of subatomic particles. This is currently being worked on all around the world, and will allow many new things such as new materials, medicines, and possibly even artificial intelligence by simulating a human body complete with a working brain.
