The bad and good side of social media

The truth is social media has become part of our culture, in what way?. We can't do without it. Most of us today are top users, in what way- it is either we are busy on Facebook updating our status, fitting a joke or we are on tweeter tweeting or on instagram, updating some of the pictures we took during the day or on whatsapp chatting with friends. That is why I said social media has become part of our culture.

I always have a positive perception of social media until recently that I got to know that some people still seem to have a negative outlook on social media and its negative influence on the teenagers today.
Yes, I agree with that because there are a lot of negative aspects: teenagers having so much freedom on the Internet this day. Privacy is not an option for most users of social media. And if we look at it closely, social media is now a platform that allows anonymous people to easily hurt others.
Bullying (cyber) is not left out,it is now a big problem this day that we see internet bullying here and there.

The fact is social media can be used for bad and good things like have mentioned above and the good things like sharing stories, opinions, motivating and encouraging others and so on.

There are a lot of people who are against the social media saying if it is taken away, some problems could be solved but I say there could be many ways we can make a difference.

It is like those who are against the use of social media focus more on the fact that it is an avenue to spread hatred. But truth be told, it depends on the environment you are, the thing is social media users can easily spread love.
Most times, I use forum like Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp to compose and send messages from the corner of my room to friends far away from me. So, many people misuse and abuse this opportunity.

I think if we encourage them, won't that be nice?

Though social media is like a voice, it is another free world on it own. Despite that I should be use wisely and not to provoke others.

In it good, social media has become an indispensable platform for entrepreneurs and marketers to promote and market their goods, usually in form of online advertisement and promotion on popular platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and mostly on instagram.

I can say social media is no more younger demographic, as companies and brands expand their online business so as to lure more customers and gain more attention from audience.

The fashion aspect is not left out as fashion retailers can offer free deal to customers so as to purchase items from them.
Am sure and certainly conceivable that social medial will continue to get stronger in our daily living. on popular platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and mostly on instagram.
