Those huge puffballs are just amazing! I would probably do a back flip (if possible) with excitement if I found one! Good idea to add the disclaimer though as the smaller puffballs could potentially be mistaken for a young Amanita phalloides (death cap) if not researched.
Indeed, the same precaution should be taken for the giant puffball, however ridiculous it might seem.
