However, if you read novel ‘angels and demons of Daniel brown’ , you maybe know it. Because the story is consisting of struggle to protect terror. And the terrorist used anti-matter bomb.
In story, CERN made anti-matter from research. It concentrated in vessel depending on plasma.
But terrorist stole it. So very exciting on strory. If you didn’t read it, I recommend it.

Anyway, when I read it, I didn’t know well science. (of course, I don’t know well now. :) )
I just thought this story is science fiction. Just, I think “wow, writer has a nice thinking and good writing skill”. However, after I searched, I know that concept is existing and anti-matter is real.
So let’s introduce it.

What is anti-matter?

Anti-matter has same properties that we know matters. But only one is different. Immediately, the quantity of electric charge has different sign. + and – sign.
By the way, think about it. If (+) charge met (-) charge. how do work? What will be happening?
Maybe, each other will pull. In other words, each other will interaction due to principle of coulomb’s law.
By the way, after matter interacts with anti matter, it changes into photons that dose not have a mass.
In other words, A mass change in energy. It is special relativity by Einstien. Mass is energy!

For this reason, when matter interacts anti-matter, energy will be made with huge amount from interaction.

This interaction is pair annihilation. I explain it until now.
However, the interaction dose not only appears pair annihilation but also appear pair production.
If you can see Pair production, you think this phenomenon that creats something from nothing!! But, actually, energy change to mass. But we can’t see it. Because this interaction appears in tiny length and tiny time and this interaction is consistent.

Why anti-matter is existing?

In principle, if you consider electron, you know why anti-matter needs.
Energy of electron is 0.511MeV when it didn’t dynamic state from E=mc².
It is real energy if it stoped.
However, we consider something more in calculating. Because electron has self energy term.
When we consider it, energy of electron is bigger than nothing. But, we know energy is 0.511Mev.
In modern, so we consider it because of anti-matter. Why? Self energy term is made by electron influences. But, if anti-matter is existing, this term will be erased it.
Right now, when we consider existence of anti-matter, we can explain result.

Now is it existence?

It constantly produces and annihilate from interaction since bigbang appeared.
That is why matter is full of our world. When anti-matter appears, it will be interaction with another matter. On the other hand, matter is just existing.
So anti-matter didn’t live our world. Only just matter can live in our world.

Why?

Now, matter is full to consist of space and world and human. What is happening?
Until now, I know we cannot explain it exactly. We just guess it.
since the bigbang started, it is consisting of energy.
A few moments later, temperature of the space is slowly lower. And photons appear.
And matter appears with anti-matter. At first, it guesses they had same ratio. But they had competed relation. And winner is matter. It is just guessing. If they have same ratio now, we cannot live. Maybe the space dose not exists.

We can use it.
We know anti-matter because we use anti-electron in medical.
It is positron.
The machine is PET(Positron Emission Tomography).
The method is simple.
If you want to know whether you have tumor in our inner body. You just eat similar glucose with positron. When it comes in body, it will accumulate to tumor. And it emits positron. At this time, positron interacts with electron. And it is pair annihilation. It changes into photon. It is gamma ray.
And PET can detect its gamma ray.
By the way, I have a plan I will post PET’s principle. So more details information will be introduced at this posting.

As a result, in the real, anti-matter bomb cannot make easy. Because Anti-matter has a very nice cross section with matter. So I think we can be worried about nuclear bomb. But we already don’t need worry about it.
