Life may have evolved in three planets at least, in a solar system recently discovered by NASA and which is located only 39 light years from planet Earth, announced Wednesday by NASA on a wheel press that was summoned suddenly. Scientists have discovered the seven planets the size of planet Earth that orbit around a cold dwarf star already known as TRAPPIST-1. Six inner planets are in a temperate zone where surface temperatures range from zero to 100 degrees Celsius.

It can be said that one of these worlds found by scientists could have oceans, which increases the probability of harboring life. "This discovery of these multiple planets that were found are rocky and with surface temperatures that allow the presence of water, make this amazing solar system a future and objective in the search for life," said the British astronomer named Chris Copperwheat .

The associate administrator of NASA's Science Mission Directorate, named Thomas Zurbuchen, has already made a statement about the new planets found already declared that the discovery of such planets could mean that "the finding of a second Earth is not a matter of ' yes', but of 'when'.

This is because the system found is so close to planet Earth, since astronomers can study the atmospheres of the new planets found with relative ease, which could reveal an astonishing diversity of these worlds covered in rocks or ice . No other known star system contains such a large number of planets the size of planet Earth and probably rocky, scientists point out.

-This system is only 39 light years from Earth.

-The planets have between 0.4 and 1.4 times the mass of the Earth and their approximate size is similar to that of our planet.

-The frequency with which they circle the star varies from a day and a half to 20 days.

-Scientists believe that each planet in the system always shows its same face to the star.

-The atmosphere of some planets could be similar to that of Earth or Venus.

-Although experts say that surface temperatures allow the presence of liquid water, the planets are too far to prove that they do.

-The surface temperatures vary from zero to 100 degrees Celsius.

-It is believed that at least three of these worlds could count on oceans, which increases the probability that they will harbor life.

-None of the planets have a moon, although they are so close to each other that they would look like the Moon from Earth.

-The planets are much closer to their star than in the Solar System: if TRAPPIST-1 took the place of the Sun, all its planets would be within the orbit of Mercury.

- This solar system was formed, probably, 500 million years ago, while our Sun was formed 4,500 million years ago.

This team that was led by Guillon sought new planets to learn with the help of two telescopes measuring 60 centimeters located in the country of Chile and the country of Morocco, and in May of last year announced the discovery of these three planets that orbit TRAPPIST-1. In the first moment they detected the slight darkening of one of these planet and they followed it, an investigation was made in whose development the NASA Spitzer space telescope 'observed' the space body during 20 consecutive days. After they saw that they believed that it was only one planet, they were really four, then the rest of the planets could be observed, including the seventh and the one that is most distant from all the others. After investigating them, Guillon concluded that, probably, that the six planets that are closest to the star formed out of their orbit, but were later attracted to it. "It is a Rosetta stone with seven different languages, that is, seven different planets that could give us completely different perspectives on the planetary formation", this was what I think at the time Julien De Wit, member of the scientific team.
