What's the Miracle Behind ACell's Miracle Powder?
Can humans regrow their limbs if accidentally removed?
It sounds like science fiction, and for the entirety of human history (not including Jesus Christ's many healing miracles), that's exactly what it was.
However, a biotech firm called ACell did exactly that. Using what was popularly termed a "miracle powder," ACell was able to regenerate finger tips that had been traumatically removed. You can see the results in the above picture.
And no, this isn't BS...ACell was featured in several mainstream national broadcasts, including Oprah. But here's the crazy thing...
ACell was popular back in 2010. Now, nobody talks about them!
I can't tell you how crazy that is. Nearly a decade ago, a company shocked the medical and scientific community by proving the concept of regeneration, something that was regarded as not human.
Yet today, we don't really hear about ACell. I mean, after eight years, surely, they've stumbled upon some further insights -- perhaps they learned how to regenerate different organs...maybe they figured out a way for humans to live indefinitely.
Still, nothing.
It's strange, innit?
Perhaps it had something to do with the "miracle" powder...
What was so miraculous about this miracle powder? It must have been something profound considering the silence towards this proven solution.
I'm about to blow your mind...
You want to know what this miracle powder is?
Pig's urine!
That's right, folks! Pig urine applications are able to regenerate human fingertips, and potentially, human limbs!
I know it sounds crazy, but you can research the information yourself, and you'll come to the same, shocking conclusion!
Are we getting smarter and then a lot greedier ?
I am hearing now they have treatment for cancer and the price is a cool million.
They are looking foe ways to charge the insurance.
That is too much.
Keep on steemin'
It almost sounds unbelievable. Ill do more research about Acell and why they've been so quiet. If regeneration can be done I don't care if they use pig's urine or even Dracula's blood.
cheers
This story comes back around every couple years or so. It's an unfortunate side effect of the internet that a story just can't die.
The reason no one has heard of this miracle cure, except maybe me in 2010, 2012, 2015, and apparently again in 2018, is that it doesn't work.
Big surprise.
If you look at the finger you'll see it's just the very tip that's cut off, and at a pretty sharp angle. As long as the bone is intact, the meat of the tip of your fingers can grow back, even if it's slightly misshapen.
Funny how each time this story comes around, they talk about "regrowing limbs", but all I ever see are these photos of a fingertip that likely would've regrown on its own because there was no real "structural" damage to the body.
See Y'all in 2020, when this story cycles back around...
