The trouble with all of these pieces is that they all think the universe is a little conscious. When it is more appropriate to say that the universe is conscious, and a little bit physical.

If western science doesn't start making huge leaps towards animism, clinging instead to the dead concept of materialism, we will find that the west is left in the dark ages. Because india and the east have already knowns this for thousands of years. When they finally get their industry up to snuff, then their far better understanding of physics (and metaphysics) will have them working on technologies an entire step above ours.
