Very interesting that you mentioned a perfume. Those are the first two things I thought of when I saw the title of this post. My wife wears a certain one that always stays with me. The blanket on our couch always smells like her, even if she is in the other room taking a nap. Thanks for sharing this great post!
Some people tend to use the same perfume every time, that's why they can end up being "connected" with that scent.
When it comes about perfumes, I always prefer to have several options to chose from :)
