5 facts you should know about Blue Tang

Blue Tang is my name and for a good reason! This fish species was my favourite as a child. So to know me, you have to know about Blue Tang :)

1. Blue Tangs are blue with yellow tails, but their colour changes as they mature.

2. Adult Blue Tangs usually weigh 600 grams and can be anywhere between 12 - 38 centimetres long.

3. Blue Tangs can be found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans as well from East Africa to Micronesia. In other words, they are everywhere!

4. They live in coral reefs along the shores.

5. They eat algae, which is a group of aquatic organisms.
