What wonderful witchery! That's as good an explanation as I've ever seen. Very nicely done.
I seem to like high altitude places. When I used a percolator to make my coffee I would occasionally have trouble with it at altitude. Is the reason I went to 'pour over' coffee when I am camping. I can always get the water warm enough to make coffee :)
Thanks for a terrific post. You make physics painless and even pleasant.
I studied physics so I have some background, there is so much fun to be had with it :)
