RE: Quantum Physics Professor on the Early Universe 🌀 Two Languages that Say the Same Thing...?

I learned the cantillation notes were sounds used for dicephering the Urim Vtumim; sound is the carrier of life.

Interesting, never heard that, and will have to think about it... Thanks! I also recently read this in Zohar Bereshit, Aleph, paragraph 199: (Inside the [ - ] is Rav Ashlag's commentary.)

".... Therefore when a person wishes his prayer to ascend, he should raise it with all its vowels [namely the vowels of the cantillation marks and the vowels - because the letters are the horses, the vowels are the horsemen, and the cantillation marks (are) the weapons.] If the serpent plans on disrupting the prayer, one should prepare a slingshot against it, and the secret behind the issue lies in Zarka, Makaf, Shofar Holech, Segolta [in the following article.]"

The next few paragraphs (the "article" as Rav Ashlag calls it and divides the Zohar,) are fascinating too, even though it seems for now that I can only gleam a tiny bit from them. They elaborate on the process more...

Anyways, getting close on time, so shabbat shalom too! Enjoy the family, and eat, study, daven, and connect up well!
