Minerals is a chemical elements or combination of
chemical elements, minerals are all around us and tey easily found almost everywhere.

What is a gem minerals?

A gem mineral is beautiful, hard, and rare. The beauty of a minerals is depends on its color, briliance, fire (or sparkle), and luster (the way it reflects light). A diamond has all of these, so it is the most valuable gem minerals.
Rubies and emeralds have beautiful colors, byt not much fire and briliance.

• Emerald
• Ruby
• Diamond
• Opal

A gem minerals must be hard; other wise it easily scratche, and loses briliance, fire, and luster.

Gem minerals are taken out of the rock in which they are found, and they are cut and polished.
