I live in Rural areas in India. During my childhood I have enjoyed a lot with these insects. We as a group of children used to catch these insects in transparent jars and observe their beauty. Quite sad that we are loosing them gradually. Nowadays it is not very easy to see such insects. As you have mentioned, these beautiful insects can be seen near water bodies like lakes and ponds.
