Project Lun of Technology Giant Alfabet, has announced to provide internet services to one million residents in Puerto Rico.

20171120_233818.pngThe US site, Virg's report, said that a large part of Puerto Rico is still trying to overcome the loss of Hurricane Maria. According to the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), about 44 percent of the Puerto Rico area is still outside the Internet service.

In order to restore the communication system in various parts of Puerto Rico to the storm, mobile communications service provider US company AT & T and T-Mobile have started working in October and Web site under Google alfabetes Google. Internet balloons have been flown in those regions of Google under 'Project Lun'.

At the time, the search giant announced in a declaration that some balloons from their Project Lun program were brought to Puerto Rico. This effort is being made to provide Internet services to people with limited internet access. These balloons offer basic access to the Internet and text messaging services of LTE phone users in different parts of the affected island of Hurricane Maria.

Project Lun's Chief Alastair Westgarthth said in a statement: "In the critical moment, communicating with nearby people, receiving emergency services and receiving important information is key. We hope Project Lun has provided the connectivity services in the last few weeks, and we thank the AndTT, T-Mobile and our public partners, who made this effort possible.
