Today I am going to describe the molecule and its types

MOLECULE:
A molecule is smallest unit of a substance that exist independently and take part in chemical reaction.Molecule are formed by the combintion of atoms.On the basis of number of atoms molecule are classified as

MONOATOMIC MOLECULE:
The molecules having only one atom in it are called monoatomic molecules.
E.G
He,Ne,Ar etc
DIATOMIC MOLECULES:
The molecules having two atoms in it are called diatomic molecules.
E.G
H2,CO,O2,N2
TRIATOMIC MOLECULES:
The molecules having three atoms in it are called triatomic molecules.
E.G
H2O,CO2 etc
POLYATOMIC MOLECULES:
The molecules having more than three atoms are called polyatomic molecules.
E.G
Glucose C6H12O6,C6H6 etc
