Perhaps in this last period we use to talk about this topic so much that it is no longer a sensational news.
Yet it is an important fact because it makes us understand the direction that companies in the world are taking, certainly the right and unique one that can be followed

To drive this choice to stipulate electricity supply contracts provided that it is not produced from traditional sources, such as gas, coal, nuclear, they are just giants like Google that at the end of 2007 has signed 3 contracts for more than 3 gigawatts of energy from wind plants.
Not least Facebook who bought 2.6 gigawatt greens, as well as General Motors, Starbucks, Walmart, Unilever.
The last company to have achieved 100% of energy consumption covered only by renewable sources is the Budweiser company.

Even the oil giant ExxonMobil in 2018 made its debut in the supply of renewable energy with 557 megawatts underwritten for its facilities in Texas.
It seems a paradox, but even those who have always invested in fossil sources today are beginning to diversify their investments.

In short, this transformation of companies that aim to impact less on our Planet, seems to be an unstoppable phenomenon.
Above all it is a phenomenon driven by American companies in contrast with the political choices of the Trump government towards the environment.

Clearly we are still at the beginning so many other companies have to do their part not to pollute anymore, they can no longer think only of their profits without worrying about the damage their activity creates to the environment and to the populations.
