This post of course reminds me of that marvelous Harry Chapin song lyric. (My Lord, but we lost him way too soon!)

Flowers are red, young man.
And green leaves are green.
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than the way they always have been seen.

And the kid's answer is bold and beautiful ... just like yours!

There are so many colors in the rainbow.
So many colors in the morning sun.
So many colors in the flowers ...
And I see every one!!

Find that kid in you again and keep him strong!
