A middle between what? What is missing is what "human rights" are violated by speech, by mere words coming out of another person's mouth or off their keyboard.

The right not to be angry?
The right not to be confused?
The right not to be offended?
The right not to have your views or beliefs challenged?
The right to have everyone agree with you?
The right to shut up anyone who disagrees with you?
The right not to have your feelings hurt?
The right to make other people do whatever it takes for you to be happier?
These are not human rights.

Some speech is "hate speech"
Words can be violence they say.
Silence is violence too they say.

Some things you are not allowed to say.
Some things you are required to say.
One does not have to be very clever to see what this is.

This is manipulation and control and the very root level.
The level of thinking and speaking.
Without the ability to speak and discuss, we can not think.
Control speech and you control thought.
That, is the aim, to control thought, to force conformity

It's a private company you may say.
Except this is coming down from our government.
Working in conjunction with companies like FaceBook and Google
In their defense, companies like these are threatened by the govt to comply.

Start your own site you might say.
We saw how that worked out with Parler.
Less competition for the tech companies who comply
More control for the govt
A win-win made in hell.

The ex PM of Denmark may not see free speech as a fundamental right
But it is a right guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States
We are lucky in that regard. This is not the case in many countries, but it is under assault like never before in the history of our nation.

In less than a decade, American Liberalism was co-opted by Leftists and a tiny fraction of screeching malcontents who shouted down sanity into hiding with their insistence that “words are violence” and strong opinions they disagreed with were the literal equivalent of lynching someone.

Ten years later, they have become even bolder now insisting you actually say the words they wish you to say. Silence is violence too ya know.

Of all the crazy, mind-bending, and frightening shit going on in the world today
This is by far the most dangerous
Don't fall for rationalizations like "hate speech" or "safety"
Don't give an inch
Demand to be able to discuss any thoughts you have, openly
Fight this as if your life depends on it
It does
