Tell you what @kubbyelizabeth. You give the steemit community a proper introduceyourself post (which will definitely benefit your growth here) and I will hit the follow button at lightspeed.
Folks on here like verification. A pic holding a sign saying steemit with the date is usually enough. No obligaiton to to do it at all, just sharing some advice from my experiences.
