RE: Don't Get Tricked, Bro: How to Recognize a Ponzi Scheme (and does Steemit qualify?)
I would also add that Steemit has more real world value than other crypro currencies: it's value will be derived from it's reputation that is reflected from the content hosted on it's platform. There is actually something there. Real content. Information. Knowledge, hopefully, and not just pictures of whatever. But even Instagram has pictures and it has value because it is something, pictures. Bitcoin, and other cryptos that don't have software behind it, don't have backing in anything in the world. Steemit, has content.
If we want Steemit to succeed we need to make it succeed, and in my view and why I use Steemit, is to produce high quality valuable content that can help to elevate ourselves from our individual and collective condition of the current way we live towards a better way of life. If everyone focused on truth and morality, consciousness and understanding ourselves and how to resolve the problems in our lives, then Steemit would have the most value out of any company in existence.
That is my goal on Steemit. Imagine it as a hub of quality content that can change the world, and the reputation that would have, and the value in the market attributed to it for people to access this site and learn from. That is the value potential I see for Steemit. That's worth more than software or mining coins. It's real world value.
Take care. Peace.
