Hello dear friends of steemit, for me it is a real pleasure to make this publication that is related to scams, no doubt that many of us have been victims of them, it is an unpleasant experience and I do not wish it to anyone. Being cheated produces a series of feelings, anger, indignation, impotence, are some of these feelings.

How did I get scammed?

The story begins about 4 years ago, I started my path in the workplace after graduating from college, and with my first salary a group of friends and I decided to go to a well-known island in my country Venezuela, as it is "Margarita" called the Pearl of the Caribbean, here is the only part of my country where the casinos work legally, so we decided to go for one of them to try our luck, I'm a Texas Holdem fan, a variety of Poker, my intention was to play some hands to distract me and try to earn some extra money for the trip, but the tickets were very high so do not participate in the game, walking I was struck by a roulette game, as there was a player who I was winning a lot, and I bet big amounts of money, so my friends and I decided to participate in the game with this winner, at that time this character told us he was in conspiracy with the dealer to beat the cas ay gave us certain numbers that would surely come out, the player left the table indicating that an emergency arose, we played around 30 min, but the results were not as expected, we really lost a lot of money, so we left the table to go to a nightclub and spend the bitter drink with the little money we had left.

In this nightclub we met a group of girls who were really lovely, so we started dancing and sharing the table with them, they were from the place, and they told us about some scams that took place in the place to the tourists, and they happened to talk about a friend of them who worked in a casino, but not as a dealer or attending the tables of games, if not that he was posing as a player and thus attracted people to play and then be victims of the casino. At that moment we realized that we had fallen into the game of this casino. But we decided not to tell them about it, so we accompanied them to their homes and went to rest, to leave the next day because the week we planned to stay on the island was ruined in one night.

I had heard stories of people who made fun of the casinos and made a lot of money, but at the time I did not know people who worked with the casinos to outwit people who were going to be distracted a bit and why not, earn a little money, from that moment I think I've only stepped on a single casino and I did not participate in the games, I hope my story helps them avoid this type of scammers, I want to thank the friend @swissclive for creating this contest and thus be able to tell our experiences with scammers.
