This scam I want write about is how Nigerian yahoo boys collect money from their clients. The yahoo boys are online scammers that pretend to be who they are not and their clients are usually Whites from United States, United Kingdom, Canada and so on. They have different methods and formats they use to collect money from their clients but the one I want to talk about is the military format.
This military format is very popular and I got to know about it from people that have been scammed with the format who shared their story on television. The yahoo boys usually open a Facebook account or any other social media using the name of an American soldier whose pictures will be gotten from Facebook or any other social media, usually male. After opening the account, they add white women who they want to scam.
They chat them up and woo them till they fall in love with them. After this they tell them different lies to collect money from them. Mostly, they tell them they are presently on peace keeping mission in another country and that they can't use their debit card to collect money. They ask them for Internet subscription fee, they can bill them any amount they want, since the innocent woman is in love with her boyfriend, she would send the money so that she can continue chatting with him.
Sometimes, they also tell their clients they are sick and need money for treatment. A lot of white women have fallen for this scam and some are still being scammed with it. They also use charm which makes the client fall in love totally and won't know what she is doing.
The military format is one out of numerous ways which the yahoo boys do their online scamming.

I know of a guy who died about 3 months ago in my area...
He was a yahoo boy.
He had just hit 10 million and was cruising in a new car he got from the proceed.
He was drunk and it was late in the night, about 2 am.
He was on speed, he and his friends in the car were drunk too
He drove into a trailer and that was how he died.
Surprisingly, he was the only one who didn't survive....
Talks had it that he died as a result of scamming others.
They don't live long, especially those using charm.
