You could try looking at my most recent post about trying to get new blood in here with twitter. I do not see much of any whales and value the community I find here. Maybe mute those people who a bothering you and check out the thousands lower down who are trying daily.
Ignoring scammers doesn't make them go away or resolve the issues.
