RE: Scammers/Conman in the Malaysian Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) industry

in #scammers7 years ago

One way that I ask my students to do is to always call up the ministry of higher education to double check. Many of them are not qualified and after thousands of ringgit, your degree can be worthless.

As for Blockchain tech, it can be used for verification purposes of the institution or to verify if a student has actually passed a particular qualification. It's still very new in education

Ya, agree, best is to check with the ministry or the authority concerned.
However, these slick talkers + ignorant & lazy consumers makes up a perfect cheat :-P
Those who did a bit of research (at least google on other possible options or get 2nd opinion) would probably saved themselves from the scam (like one beautician who just did that 2 days back).

Unfortunately, these group of consumers are usually poor in their command of English or Malay, hence info in these 2 languages doesn't reach them. And too bad I'm a banana, can't write in Mandarin.

Ahhh, I can write in mandarin and if you want to get something like that done, let me know, ya?

It's sad that something like education is being used by these cheats. Shame on them for doing something this despicable.

Sure Alvin, would check out with my associate first whether she can do that coz she's from the most affected industry.
