Worth noting that Genesis Mining and Hashflare raised their btc withdrawal limits recently too, over concerns about how long transactions were taking: so that might not be bs. Also I have had unrelated ETH transfers pending for hours(damn kitties!). That said thanks for the reporting, I have been wary about the Tether/Bitfinex situation since people brought the concerns to light and frankly it helps keep these people honest.
