Help Please: Is The Mining Website "LiteGuardian" Another Scam? (Original Blog)

in #scam7 years ago

Does anyone know about the website Liteguardian.com?

We have been mining LTC & Dogecoin on this platform since 2014 problem-free but recently after requesting payout for the 50,050 coins that we have remaining on there, we receive a confirmation message stating we will receive the money in 1 hour and nothing happens. Furthermore, after logging into our account successfully and taking screenshots of everything, now the website, As Of Yesterday, is not allowing us to log in and saying that the email address we have entered is not listed or verified

Has anyone also used this website? We have a lot of money locked up in this place, and we are getting no replies. This is not the first time we have been scammed out of our money, we are also dealing with another website as well as what we had already lost on Cryptsy before in the past.

If it is a scam, then this is just another setback we will have to recover from. But maybe there will be a class action lawsuit. What preventative measures can one take to prevent this from happening again? Any suggestions and advice is appreciated.

We researched of any scam reports and for the longest time only good and safe reports of this website could only be found but just recently some people have also been complaining of the neglect of payout and of the non responsiveness of the support team...This might be fraudulent robbery just like MtGox and Cryptsy all over again...I hope not...

Thank you for reading this post in its entirety

I'll still be continuing accepting donations until I can reach my goal to fly out to america with my children and wife to visit my family as it is very urgent indeed.

I've raised $2019 and .14 cents of Steemit Currency in total from both My Posts and Donations from Steemit Community Members this 2017 forward and $95.00 in US Dollar Donations so far towards my goal of $ 6,000.00 (Six Thousand) US Dollars and will keep everyone updated with every new future post that I submit.
This total amount will not only include donations I've received to the Paypal account I've provided: [email protected], but it will also include the Steemit Currency that I accrue/receive from all of my personal posts starting the 1st of January of 2017 forward calculated after a 48 hour time frame is finished for the payout cycle of each post to avoid miscalculating the fluctuating price of Steemit Currency.

For more information on that, please check my New Year's/Happy Bday Post

Thanks sincerely again in advance for all your help, anything and everything helps.

I think nowadays altcoin mining become faded. Since mining is not a good solution for scaling up the altcoin. The altcoin is going to change from POW to POs. And there are more and more ICO with fixed amount of tokens. So the future of mining is not so optimistic...

For an unknown reason it's not paying and haven't implemented segwit. Scam? May be!

Yeah it is really another unfortunate learning experience

Sry, @verbal-d. I can't help you this time. I have just upvoted it btw :)

Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness, I appreciate the up vote, i hope we can solve this and get our coins out

The only preventive measure can be is regulation and full transparency of the owners and admins. It doesn't guarantee that project won't become a scam but there is less probability that someone will risk his reputation and may be life. May we should only mine with pools that don't hide any information about the owners?

By now you can try to find as much victims as you can and fill the complaints to SEC and FBI.

Thank you very much for these links, I was a complete beginner when we had started mining back then, so this is all new to me, I am mainly a creative mind so my lack of understanding when it comes to proper safety protocols and preventative measures has cost me a lot due to the trust one can associate with these kind of websites that are owned and created by immoral individuals.

That was unpredictable and we don't know for sure what has happened to the owner of the pool. Life is unpredictable. I guess we will never know.

Btw, if you are looking for reliable pool try this:

And if you need any it-related help feel free to ask. I have got a lot of experience in that field.

Thank you very much again for your help, also the contest winner has been announced and the new contest is up, feel free to join again with another creepy entry.
