Remember Zeartful Bellyrub Scam
It was only a few months ago we went through this terrible incident that left many Steemians out of pocket.
Recently I brought forward what looked like a similar incident occurring with @lays. I am sure that lays has no intention of scamming steemians, but there is a slight problem with his service that was being promoted on the Bot Site. The service lays was offering in Upvotes was completely manual and not automated. This led to some long delays in lays getting online and manually upvoting everyone, which led to many complaints by users.
When lays no longer had enough SP he used the sbd for Vote purchases to buy a delegation of more SP. Nothing wrong with that, but it did look suspicious at the time due to Blocktrades memo not showing a delegation purchase, it looked like a cashout. With no response to peoples complaints, and no Post from lays showing his intentions, this looked like a scam to even the Witnesses who were monitoring the situation.
I made a post warning of the potential disaster, and lays responded angrily, flagging a number of my posts with his high SP and responding with some false claims. I hope lays can see that my first response was caring for the community, and no harm was intended.
The main problem is, lays is running a service manually that needs a bot to do the job properly, poor communication from lays when he was unable to give upvotes, and increasing demand for upvotes has driven lays to purchase more steem delegation, which drives the demand for his service to increase rapidly, which he could not maintain manually.
He may not see it now, but when you start receiving 200, then 400 then a 1,000 upvote requests per day, how were you going to handle that? We witnessed just recently zeartful/bellyrub do a similar thing, but zeartful took the money and ran, leaving many steemians out of pocket.
There is an easy fix, you need to automate your service, and if you cannot do that, then give your voting power to a service such as @steemdunk or @minnowbooster who will give you daily returns on your investment.
You need to be completely honest and upfront in your posts, some statements in your posts about myself claiming to be using your service is false, you also need to update your users with current issues and inform them exactly how you run the service.
The witness @yabapmatt removed @lays from his Bot Promotion site because lays is not a Bot service. https://steembottracker.com/

Personally I would advise him going with steemdunk or work out how to create a bot for his service
