Why is it an urgent scam that needs to rectified? because through the scam EIG and hostgator are perpetrating they are making millions of websites vulnerable to phishing and viruses around the world, which means allowing the compromise of personal information and credit cards of millions of people worldwide.

The scam that hostgator.com has been perpetrating is far reaching, this hostgator.com scam started when they were purchased by parent company EIG in 2014, before that time hostgator had automatic virus and malware removal tools and allowing cpanel virus plugins.
