Dear Steem-mates, please make a mental note of these websites, many people have lost a lot of money by trusting their money with them. Recently one unsuspecting fellow lost 4 bitcoins!

www.btcclock.io
www.btctime.io

These sites require you to make a deposit in bitcoin and in return they will invest your money and return a profit every 60 seconds. At first glance this appears to be a ponzi scheme. But its worse that that, it is a complete scam. Their contacts details and business address have been checked and they are all fake.

They started with btcclock.io and then moved their operation to btctime.io.
Yet both sites seem to be active. Their YouTube video explains how it works.

These sites are flashy and seem legitimate, they even provide proof of business registration, a contact number and email address! Thats all part of the scam, to make you feel comfortable, to entice you to make deposit, then for a while you will get a return. After a while, once they they have fed your greed and you are depositing larger and larger sums they remove your ability to withdraw funds.

These are numerous warnings about these sites on the internet, yet people are still sending money and getting caught. So I thought I should put a warning on steemit and help get the word out.
