The Lord told him:
-Exit and stand in front of me, on the mountain. While Elijah was standing there, the Lord passed, and a strong and impetuous wind whipped the mountain. The blast was so tremendous that the rocks loosened, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a soft whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak, went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. Then a voice said to him: -What are you doing here, Elias ?. 1 Kings 19: 11-13
Usually the special manifestations of God were accompanied by signs such as strong wind, earthquake or fire and Elijah no doubt expected God in them, but God rather manifested with a soft whisper (or gentle breeze), often God meets the believer in a new situation or in a different way from what it expects.
We can feel the presence of God in different ways, we can be with joy and feel it, and just as in calm and serenity He also fills us with His peace.
The important thing is to feel His presence, that she accompany us wherever we go, because her Holy Spirit is the one who has sealed us for her coming, ask ourselves if we are really walking with the presence of God?
In him you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and having believed in it, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 1:13
