In the first chapters of the book of Hosea, God speaks to him and makes a certain comparison, of the people of Israel with an unfaithful wife. That in spite of how much her husband has loved her, she has been pleased with her lovers, letting herself be carried away by the pleasures of sin, idolatry, not recognizing that God had done so many things for her.
"But now, bring charges against your mother Israel, because she is no longer my wife, nor am I her husband. Tell her to remove the makeup of a prostitute and the clothes that show her breasts from her face. "Hosea 2: 2 (New Living Translation).

It is necessary that we take off the mask, the makeup we wear, because behind it there are many hidden things in our lives that nobody knows, only God, even if we want to show another face to the world, pretending, pretending, what we really are not, nor of what is really in our hearts; Many times we have been indifferent, not because we are really strong, but because of the contrary, we are afraid that people who come to us will hurt us. We also behave in an inappropriate way, just because the bad decisions and the damage they have done to us have led us to have a behavior of revenge, interest, in order to seek benefits, leading us to who really loves us.

But what reason did Israel have to be unfaithful to God ?, perhaps God had not given everything, the answer is simply the lack of love, because they were in love with the benefits, but not who gave them.
God has not given everything in life, what we have even if little or much we owe it to Him, there is no doubt that God has always loved us and has given everything for us (to the point of giving his son), we It is hard to recognize that when we walk in the flesh, we have attitudes of indifference, we forget that in our bad times we cry and He answered us, gave us the things we need, in that forgetfulness is when then our problems come back again, because things materials, money, pride, evil, luxuries, make us put aside and ingratitude have its consequences one of them the desert.
"In spite of all that, I will take Israel to the desert, and there, with much love, I will make her fall in love with me again." Hosea 2:14 (Translation in current language).

We have to fall in love with God, because if we do not do it, then we are with Him only for interest and we are simply using it to benefit us and then forget it, not wanting to compromise with Him. It is very sad when they look for you only for interest, for we go to the desert because when we have nothing or nobody, we will realize who really loves us and what is the most important thing in our life, who is on our side and is capable of doing anything for us.
