WE CAN NOT FORGET

Every day we forget some things, and some that are important, giving priority to the passengers, or to the things that overwhelm us at the moment. We can all make a mistake by forgetting something, such as a loved one's birthday, a medical appointment, a meeting, or any other commitment, and that usually happens to us when our mind is occupied with other things, and there is something that steals priority.

Who has not passed, that in his first steps in the ways of God, he has forgotten to take the bible to church, maybe because you were waiting not to be late, you worried about looking good, since there was someone that interested you in the church or you were just going because yes.

And what to say in difficult situations, in problems, when we are under stress, manipulated by anxiety and eagerness, we forget important things like dedicating time to the family, being aware of the children, fulfilling our duty as friends, parents , husbands, children, servants, ministers etc. We forget what is really important, for passing things that are not worthwhile, because we forget that God has told us: The light our burden and that will make us rest; So when we are troubled many times it is because we allow situations and Satan to torment us and we do not let God do his work, we act as if we have the power to solve everything with our hands.

¨ Arriving his disciples on the other side, they had forgotten to bring bread. And Jesus said to them, Beware, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. They thought within themselves, saying: This says because we did not bring bread. And when Jesus understood it, he said to them, Why do you think within yourselves, you men of little faith, that you have no bread? ¨ Matthew 16: 5-8 (Reina-Valera 1960).

If we fail even in the least, we feel confronted by everything, we speculate and believe that everything that happens to us is because of God's punishment. The disciples had only forgotten to take the bread, for the eagerness to get to where Jesus was, and seeing it well, that was no problem, it is enough to go and get where the teacher was, and otherwise it would not matter, if in Him we can all and we have it, but his error was in the little faith.

Even if we do not have things physically, at a spiritual level we already have them, we just have to have faith, not doubt what God has said, that's why Jesus reproached them and reminded them of what had happened before with a few loaves and fishes,

We forget the great things that God has done for us, we forget to trust Him, but we do not forget the doubt and we should not pay attention to the things that only want to stand in our walk with God.

Let's take care of the leaven, and even more of the one who gives it to us, just as it has the effect of making bread more voluptuous, that same effect may have on our life but negatively, making us grow and multiply in us the things that God does not please

We should never forget that God wants the best for us, that He is always at our side and that He will never leave us, He has control of everything, and we do not forget to please Him with faith.
