Matthew chapter 4 verse 4 tells us, That man will not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God, that is, from the bible, which is the mouth of God.

Then he tells us in 1 Peter 2: 2 "desire, as newborn children, unadulterated spiritual milk, so that through it you may grow for salvation"

As children of God, we must always yearn for that spiritual food as is the word of God, that food that nourishes us, strengthens us, teaches us and transforms us.

The word of God is not only to read it, but to analyze it, retain it, scrutinize it and practice it. For every situation God has a word, it is up to us to read the Bible to find help for the different circumstances we live.

But, we must yearn for that food free from all evil, which will strengthen us in the ways of the Lord and will lead us along the right path of truth and blessing.

Every day we have breakfast, lunch and dinner, we feed on those delights that the Lord has made for us, just as we eat food every day, we must feed on the word of the Lord, help our knowledge to grow and fill ourselves with the advice that is written in the bible, so that later we can learn more about the wonders of our Heavenly Father.
